职位描述
As a Head of Translation Hub he/she will know the policies, procedures and practices necessary to conduct the daily activities of a translation operation. Familiarity with the normal function of specific sub service line/industry is necessary to deploy the service and support the functions key customer base.
Key Responsibilities
? Manage the day to day operations of the translation team
? Support planning and reporting on the translation group development
? Monitor the productivity & utilization of resources within the operation
? Manage, coach and develop all direct reports in line with EY Performance Management and Development Programs and related GSS-CBS initiatives.
? Supervise a pool of translators and senior translators
? Distribute the assignment among the translators
? Interview and hire staff, liaising with the translation and operations leadership when required.
? Ensure appropriate training and development plans are in place for his/her staff.
? Proactively engages his/her employees, creates an environment that motivates individuals and teams and recognizes exceptional performance.
? Proactively handles any employee concerns and poor performance issues, working closely with the local GSS People Team.
? Works collaboratively with other process managers, to develop and share best practices and ways of working and use as a support mechanism in handling issues and SL priorities.

? Revise and review existing translations, Coordinate the translator's products to make sure alignment and consistency are observed in style and terminology
? Provide final review on translation work for key customer groups
? Works with customer and translation leader to develop appropriate service delivery models and generate new business opportunities for GSS. Monitors and reports progress on a timely basis.
? Review work instructions and training materials and developed and maintained for all such documents for the team.
? Coordinate and manages special projects as assigned by the translation leader.
? Initiate, develop and maintain strong relationships with customer representatives
? Establishes regular communication protocols and contact points, coordinating these with the translation leader.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
(Describe the knowledge or skills needed to perform this job; these may be technical, managerial or behavioral in nature and can be divided by “Mandatory” and “Optional / being considered as an asset)
Mandatory
? Translators experience in financial services, consulting, and/or accounting industry.
? Strong business knowledge with experience in more than one of the following areas: contracts, finance, business management, accounting, transactions, financial reporting, supply chain and/or business operations.g
? Excellent command of English and Chinese linguistic structures
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Capable of dealing with translation involving different texts formats (diagrams, charts, pictures .etc)
? Capable of running big translation tasks (long contracts, books, researches, etc.)
? Understanding and acceptance of different cultures
? Able to work accurately and objectively
? Initiative and good at research
? Literate on MS Office and Lotus Notes
? Broad general knowledge
Optional
? Strong knowledge in Firm business including service lines and industries
? Familiarity with translation tools with some practical experience
Job Requirements:
Education:

? Bachelors/Master’s degree in the English Language
? Additional educational may be substituted for experience, such as MBA
Experience:

? At least 10 years of experience in translation of various fields (scientific, technical, commercial, literary, legal, educational documents, etc.)
