Position name: Procurement Senior  Engineer

Work location: LHFD 

Reports to: Procurement Manager

1. What you will do:

Direct and indirect Procurement

1. Key Accountabilities (Tasks & Responsibilities)

？Responsible for driving the procurement related tasks  and projects.

？Well understanding and   validation in needs   from purchasing requisition   to collectively support stakeholders.

？Evaluate the readiness of suppliers for the new parts in terms of process and production capability.

？ Accomplish suppliers assessment , improvement and  development   in long-term cooperation.

？ Leading RFQ  , negotiation  for new material and service  in projects to ensure the right HSE, quality and  TCO  contribution.

？ Complete the proper vendor    selection in transparent and accountable  manner.

？ Follow up   orders on time delivery with right quality and evaluate vender’s performance regularly.

？Early engage suppliers for projects to bring more innovative ideas to create more value for customers.

？Responsible to secure HSE, quality and finance etc. audit.

1. Key Capabilities (Professional Knowledges, Working Experiences & Soft Skills)

？ University Degree preferably in Engineering and/or business management or equivalent

？ Over 5 years solid work experience with proven career track and achievements in areas of Purchasing and Supply Chain. Direct category  and equipment  purchasing experience  is plus.

？ Good business overview and to understand the connection between purchasing and stakeholders.

？ Be a team player and enjoy teamwork in cross functional and regional field.

？ Strong organizing, planning & analysis skills , basic financial knowledge is preferred.

？ Good negotiation and communication skills with external and internal business partners,  and has strong commercial experiences and contract skills.

？ Good knowledge and experience with local markets and supplier bases; strong business focus and good at building relationships/teamwork with peers, Factories, and vendors.

？ Well compliance mind-set according to   guideline and policy   

？ Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

？ Clear know-how to HSE and quality management process eg. ISO , TS16949 is preferred.

？ Skilled in SAP *** operation, key user experience  is plus especially training.

？ Fluent    written and spoken in English and Mandarin
