About EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance:

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance practice supports global EY client-serving teams with their reviews across industry sectors, including financial services, manufacturing and technology, among others. Through the right multidisciplinary team of professionals with the sector knowledge and subject matter expertise, EY GDS Assurance enables EY client teams in over 30 countries to help world’s leading companies meet their assurance requirements.

Position summary:

EY GDS China Assurance founded since 2014 in Dalian. The department provide exceptional supporting services to EY assurance engagement teams. Managers are required to close monitor team’s performance and client service quality. Also, you need to get involved in daily business operations.

Primary responsibilities:

As a manager in Assurance department, you will work with seniors and staffs as a team and you will be responsible for management of different aspects of a region team, such as:

• Lead a team of GDS and to deliver exceptional client services to EY engagement teams

• Monitor the quality of works delivered and review feedbacks received from engagement team

• Response to engagement team feedbacks and design appropriate action plans towards feedbacks

• Participate in auditing automation process and contribute valuable ideas

• To fulfil yearly KPI and complete marketing targets

• Identify new business opportunity

  
  

  Qualifications, skills and experience:

• A minimum of 8 years working experience in audit in Big-four accounting firm;

• Chartered accountant with professional certification (CICPA) in accounting

• Strong knowledge of assurance-related concepts

• Excellent team management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Ability to quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside China
