Position Summary:

  

 

  

A key role in the translation process which ensures quality source files are used for translation and delivering high quality final formatted documents for client delivery. This role requires strong production and computer skills that are balanced with experience in type, composition and document layout.

  

 

  

Position responsibilities:

  

 

  

• Recreating documents in word format from original PDF ensuring text and formatting from the original are replicated

• Formatting target language documents so that they are an accurate visual representation of the source document

• Using required tools and following company processes

• Working efficiently to balance workload and meet deadlines

• Performing other administrative duties as assigned

   

            

Essential skills and experience required:

  

 

  

• Proficient English

• Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word

• Ideally with experience in typesetting in Word

• Excellent attention to detail

• Time management – Ability to juggle between deadlines and prioritize urgent requests

• Previous editing/proofreading experience preferred
