Background:
This role is part of FICC Production Services team IT team in Shanghai, supporting the CITI Margin Platform with applications like MONET, CPM and MERIT. These applications are developed/supported CITI’s Margin tech teams and are used by CITI internal Margin business and ops users. They also send out margin calls/reports to internal and external customers, senior management teams, front desks, and downstream applications.

The successful candidate will be working closely with their colleagues in support and DEV teams in New York, Shanghai and other international locations to ensure seamless 24 x 7 supports of our applications. The ideal candidate should be technically astute, well organized, and proactive and be comfortable discussing issues with business and technical users at all levels. They also need to possess great multitasking skills.

The support team work shifts during the day in order for the team to provide on-site cover between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. This allows the support team to cover both our users in ASIA/EMEA. The candidate must be willing to participate in the weekday rota and weekend support rota.

Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:

? Provide support for a franchise-critical Margin Platforms
? Define & Drive Stability initiatives in Margin Product Processing platform to reduce the outages that impacts business, batch failure reductions, SLA adherence, governance of success rate & KPI Management.
? Support all aspects of Product Processor features like Trade Capture, Settlement, Payments, and regulatory reporting
? Start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover
? Own and manage the incident response process. Must be able to escalate problems to appropriate technology and business teams while adhering to Service Level Agreements
? Application monitoring as well as the underlying infrastructure and identify & lose the monitoring gaps
? Develop and maintain technical support documentation
? Act as a liaison between users, various internal technology groups and vendors
? Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production
? Perform post-release testing after application releases and infrastructure updates
? Support Batch processes via AutoSys
? Leading focused PS initiatives or teams as required

Essential Skills:
Application Support
？ 4-5 years’ experience working in a support environment
？ Understanding of IPC (Incident, Problem, Change) management methodologies
？ Experience with trouble ticketing software
？ Basic Knowledge of financial applications
？ Exposure to various regulatory obligations in APAC region (not limited to Singapore).

Linux
？ 2-5 years’ experience
？ Shell scripting

SQL
？ 3-5 years’ experience
？ knowledge in Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server

Additional Skills (preferable):
Programming Languages
？ Perl, shell script, or Java language

Systems
？ Basic understanding of PCs, Windows and networking

Personal:
？ Ability to communicate well verbally and written at all levels
？ Strong organizational skills
？ Self-motivating
？ Ability to work in a team environment and show leadership when needed

？ Provide training to new members of team and handle multiple threads of work
