Major Responsibilities

· Analyze and Review Reporting requirements

· Design & Development of Reports and Dashboards/Components

· Development work including Code Reviews & Unit Testing

· Ensuring deliverables are error free and meet requirements

· Technical Documentation skills

· Supports infrastructure upgrades, technology upgrades and installations

· Works on periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defects

· Innovative approach with focus on continuous improvement

· Effectively collaborate and interact with globally distributed teams

· Manage workload effectively to meet timelines with good quality

· Provide prompt and Proactive status updates on assigned activities

· Notify/raise issues to supervisor in a timely manner to resolve them earlier than later

· Must have a good understanding of SDLC Processes

· Quick learner with ability to work on deliverables independently.

· Knowledge of Agile concepts and practices would be an added advantage

Essential Experience and Skills

· Must have at least 2 years' experience with Webfocus Reporting Development with a good understanding of the Focus language

· Strong Webfocus development skills is required with knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and other Client side scripting

· Knowledge of Client Scripting packages like DOJO or JQuery and HTML 5

· Experience in Design and develop report , template and dashboards (1 year with v7.x or higher)

· Good understanding of Reporting & OLAP concepts

· Familiarity with tools such as Report painter, Maintain

· Good understanding of underlying data models

· Familiarity with Managed Reporting, WebFocus App Server and Data server

· Good understanding of Data warehousing and ETL concepts is preferred

· Must be a good team player, self-motivated, possessing good inter-personal communication skills

· Good analytical and problem solving & documentation skills

· English language skills (both spoken and written) are required to effectively communicate with globally distributed team members

Desirable skills

· Previous working experience in a globally distributed team.

· Understanding of Corporate functions such as Real Estate/Corporate Finance/Corporate Communications is helpful but not required.

· Previous experience with technical documentation (eg. Technical design documents, release documentation etc.)

· Previous work experience in a data warehousing is nice to have

· Experience in Adobe flex, PLSQL Programming is nice to have

· Experience in Info Assistant and PMF is nice to have

· Experience with software configuration management tools such as Rational Team Concert 举报 分享
