Sales Region Manager (North)

Position & Responsibility
The sales region manager will be part of the Sales & Service department and shall take responsibility for the business development and all order intake in the North region of China. His main function is to work very proactive on customers and their needs and also to coordinate and manage the distributors efficiently. He shall develop the required relationship network while ensuring to follow the company compliance guidelines and regulations. He acts as a communication and information interface between customer and SIHI technical and operational departments. He manages the regional sales office Beijing.
Reporting
The Sales Region Manager (North) reports to the Director Sales China.
Tasks
? Responsible for direct sales and distributor sales budget in the North region
? Frequently calls on and visits customers (existing and potential new) to develop business with all SIHI group products, predominantly SIHI products manufactured in China
? Takes action and obtains support from other departments to get SIHI listed as approved vendor for large international customers
? Provides high level project and customer information to application engineers and market managers for the generation of high quality quotations
? Ensures to be informed and updated about all major investment projects in industrial parks in the North region
? Ensures for large projects and tenders detailed knowledge about true customer requirements, competitor quotes and decision makers at customer side
? Ensures timely submission of complete and correct tender approval documents in the Smart system
? Negotiates quotations and contracts technically, commercially and legally, if required with support from other departments (engineering, finance, legal) to ensure best possible achievement of SIHI standard terms of delivery and payment.
? Coordinates directly all distributors and sales agents in the North region
? Reports regularly to Director Sales about status of business and major projects
? Maintains customer and projects database in Smart
? Responsible for managing the regional sales office Beijing
Skills / Capabilities
? Have Engineering background (chemical or mechanical major preferable)
? Proven track records in field sales execution role for continued sales growth.
? Min. 5 years broad experience on Technical/ Sales/ Marketing, good knowledge on pump especially for vacuum pump
? Bachelor degree or above in engineering or science discipline
? Self-motivated, self-contained, reliable, team work character
? Advanced written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese language
? Effective communication skills to build positive relationships
