About the Position
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a senior sales role located in the Guangdong Province of PRC. The role will be responsible for managing the local sales team to achieve the sales targets established for the business.
The position will be responsible for:
1. The development and implementation of strategic sales initiatives;
2. Management of sales performance of the business in China to achieve and exceed nominated sales targets;
3. The development and maintenance of client relationships;
4. Promote the company’s inspection and testing services to manufacturers, traders and exporting companies;
5. Report on market information, developing opportunities and trends, and competitor business positioning;
6. Ensuring direct reports have suitable skills and training for the roles they are fulfilling;
7. Ensuring the business is operated according to business and strategic plans and legislative requirements;
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Mandarin and English;
2. A minimum of 3-5 years previous sales experience in a comparable role;
3. A tertiary qualification;
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships;
5. Ability to routinely travel within PRC, as required by the position;
6. A high degree of computer literacy;
7. PRC national;
