COLOR ANALYST

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitors Business Partners (BPs) color submits from lab dip to 1st dyelot, maintaining compliance to defined process and calendar.

· Evaluates visual color submits on hard goods e.g. ceramics, plastics, wood for approval/rejection.

· Provides color Technical knowledge and expertise regionally, internally across pyramids/locations as well as externally, to support the color approval process.

· Ensures the consistent and proper use of color equipment and process to evaluate color submits.

· Drives process improvements within color approval process internally and with external BPs.

· Implements Color Approval process training plan for BPs and factories.

· Spectrophotometrically measures all submits and communicates evaluation results to BPs.

· Independently drive and manage projects related to color standard development, calibration, and evaluation

· Visually evaluates color on an as needed basis

REQUIREMENTS

· BA or BS degree with emphasis in textiles & color science preferred

· Minimum rating of 70 on Color vision test / Superior Color Discretion Rating on Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test

· 2-4 years of related working experience in color evaluation using Spectrophotometer & lightbox

· Technical knowledge of color and dyeing

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese

· Computer literate, understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, database analysis etc.

· Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
