Main Responsibilities:
- Lead excellent in-depth market and competitive intelligence for regional BU and GC Management to ensure single information of flow within the organization;
- Assure BU relevant market data are consistent and reliable (single version of the truth) as a basis for strategic and business decisions, also to work with BU to define research objectives and requirements, design and implement the research project to fulfill users’ needs in an cost-effective manner;
- Analyze continuously key competitors, key industries, product and applications and translate key intelligence into business insights and recommendations;
- Identify the niche market, technical trends and new market segments for new business opportunities and risks;
- Develop the groundwork for improving the marketing strategy & planning which benefits customer relationship management in complex market environment;
- Lead marketing team management and support cross-region sales Management with specific reviewed market studies and statements;
- Represent in Intelligence event, identify new information sources, consults and build networks with external market organizations/associations and lead market survey planning and execution;
- Write up research proposal in compliance with company policies and work with external research agency to formulate research design and evaluate research materials/findings;
- Drive and lead the creation and management of standardized market / relevant market definitions;
- Assessment and incentive all subordinates to work more hard and efficient to achieve department target;



Qualification & Requirements:
- Master or Bachelor degree required, preferably the position holder has a university degree in a scientific and/or commercial discipline;
- Minimum 8 years of market research or relevant intelligence experience (both qualitative and quantitative), preferably with multinational companies, more than 3 years’ experience of leadership management;
- Requires a BU specific experience and knowledge (e.g. technical functions or business development) integrated with commercial experience;
- The incumbent must be able to deal with a broad spectrum of disciplines and must thus have sensitivity to people with varying backgrounds and cultures;
- Excellent combinatorial capabilities, combined with creative thinking and international perspective;
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional capabilities in data processing and data presentation;
- Good oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English, 2nd language a plus;
- Broad understanding and overview of TPE business environment (key markets, industries, competitors, products, customer structure);
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; highly initiative, able to work independently and under pressure;
