The Global Trade Specialist will work within Crocs Global Logistics and Trade Compliance strategies in alignment with organizational mission and vision. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain key relationships with carriers, brokers, and interdepartmental teams while working collaboratively with internal and external programs and maintaining compliance in all countries, and with all programs, where Crocs imports or exports product or other goods. The Specialist provides support for all business units within Crocs, drives innovation and is proactive in pointing out opportunities for the business by leveraging the Supply Chain worldwide while pursuing opportunities within the Supply Chain in order to improve customer satisfaction, gain market share, and enhance the bottom line.

Job Requirements:

• Assist in the development and implementation of Global Trade Compliance Program with a global team.
• Maintain, review, and update trade compliance manuals.
• Implement business processes and procedures through automation, when
  applicable.
• Partner with numerous organizations within the Company including Legal, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, and IT to develop and execute defined procedures.
• Provide advice and counsel on trade requirements for major initiatives and special projects
• Support first sale initiative including interaction with outside counsel, internal audits, and interaction with unrelated suppliers.
• Implement and manage appropriate KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator) for Trade Compliance aligned with customs broker and freight forwarder management
• Classify products under appropriate Harmonized System codes
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable global regulations, conduct Post Entry Audit for exports and imports
• Own and ensure documentation is in compliance with government standards
• Provide technical and hands-on expertise in the area of daily export and import compliance
• Monitor, review and interpret import and export regulations, laws and requirements including participating government agency (PGA) regulations in regions as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
3 or more years’ Experience in Global Trade/Customs Compliance

Experience with Trade Issues for Consumer Products (footwear preferred)
