职位描述


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Product Development:   

-   Work with US team on seasonal placement strategy to ensure right product, right vendor

-   Fully versed on brand calendar and all key dates. Alert Sourcing team for any exceptions

-   Manage spec packet hand off with factories and engineers

-   Communicate program approval to vendors and ensure that the factory has all approvals in place before they go into production  

2. Development Trips   

-   Coordinate development trips with In-country Strategy team 

-    prepare all documents and samples for US team’s visit 

3. Negotiate costs and quantity

-  Ensure all costing updates from both US & vendor side on PLM & mediate the conversations to achieve the desired cost/IMU targets.  

-   Ensure cost evaluation of all the product from all aspects & facilitate the costing conversations

-  Obtain agreement on initial and reorder quantities.  

-   Manage quarterly Master Cost/quantity file with program updates

-  Address factory up-charges as they arise and work with the brand to drive agreements

-  Look for cost saving opportunities for core programs & take relevant initiatives

-  Support vendor & ensure PLM is up to date  

4. Vendor relations and capacity allocation

-   Ensure product development with respective vendors as per allocation plan

-   Facilitate On-boarding of new vendors

-   Create strong relationships with all of our key vendors

-   Ensure accurate monthly capacity forecast and scorecard discussions

5. Cross functional transition

-   Ensure all check points are taken care of before handover to Operations team

-   Initiate & close PPM in line with TNA calendar

            

Knowledge   

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

-  8 years of practical experience including 5 years of additional management responsibility

-  Knowledge of overseas sourcing and product development / Project management skills

-   Knowledge of furniture manufacturing operations / hospitality and contract grade (advantage)

-   Preferred experience working with or for a Retailer
