About the company:

Our client is an American company with factory in Dongguan.

Main responsibilities:

• Take initiatives to create series of cost saving projects, and drive the cross-function team to make project be implemented on time to achieve the final saving target.
• Conduct price negotiation and VA/VE workshop with supplier to continuously reduce the material cost.
• Sourcing competitive new supplier, new process and new material to ensure the BOM Cost of new product can meet cost target
• Monthly review the supply base to streamline the supplier strategy, phase out the low-performing suppliers, work out the action plan with execution to prevent supplying risk caused by single source, government policy change, or marketing fluctuations
• Perform regular review with supplier and drive supplier to continuously improve quality capability and delivery performance
• Make the commodity strategy and source distribution in place, to provide a clear picture of industry trend and enough source selection to meet R&D requirements for new products
• Optimise supplier management by monthly scoring, on-site audit, workshop/training, and relationship development to enhance the control power at supplier side
• Procurement team management and performance appraisal

Main requirements:

• More than 10 years of working experience at procurement management in hardware and manufacture company
• Bachelor degree with major in business administration/ mechanical engineering
• Familiar with electronic materials and mechanical related manufacturing process and supply base.
• Proven good communication skills and independent ability to coordinate a cross-functional team to work for the final problem-resolving
• Result-driven spirit with big courage to meet challenges and overcome difficulties in daily work
• Experience and knowledge in intelligent lock industry is preferred
• Ability to communicate in written and oral English
