Brunel is currently looking for an experienced HVAC engineer to join a big chemical organization to work on a big greenfield project.
Required duties:
- To be responsible for the complete HVAC Engineering element of the project, including all building and earthworks, from Project Initiation through design, construction to hand over.
- To consult all available records of all existing underground services and advise for avoidance or diversion of same in a timely manner.
- To ensure that the new building or earthworks is appropriate to the HVAC engineering, including:
o Accessibility and space
o Lifting/removal replacement features
o Low building maintenance features
o Energy efficiency features
- To ensure that HVAC Engineering issues are addressed through all phases of the project life cycle.
- To ensure that the design delivers all statutory and regulatory requirements in the HVAC Engineering area.
- To liaise with the Construction Representative to ensure that the construction activities in this discipline meet our high standard engineering practices, site procedures, regularly and legal requirements and that the standard of workmanship is of the required quality.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years experience in HVAC engineering in big chemical / food / pharmaceutical projects.
- Minimal bachelor degree
- Good understanding of the HVAC technology
