职位描述
·B. S. Degree in respective Engineering discipline with minimum 10 years of work experience in engineering services of any process industries.
·Fully conversant with engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, applicable /relevant engineering standards/codes (GB Series), specifications and latest ISO 9000 requirements.
·Experienced at preparing detail design-engineering packages through LDI for R&D or Chemical capital projects.
·Knowledge of PC & applicable software related to design engineering
·Experienced in preparation and evaluation of bids and contribute towards preparation of project execution plans
·Experience in material selection and upgrade in order to maintain the equipment operation safely and effectively
·Inputs to decisions on equipment specifications and souring.
·Manage preparation and approval of complete basic and detailed engineering package(s) through LDI.
·Provide technical support to customer or other sections.
·Prepare bid specifications, evaluate bids, review Vendors/Contractors’ engineering drawings for selection purposes and project execution
·Coordinate with Contractors and guide them during execution of plant modifications / projects to accomplish the work safely and efficiently.
·Review of engineering / design packages in the relevant discipline area, confer with the sponsors and other concerned departments.
·Coordinates design review and safety review meetings to ensure compliance with work scope, applicable codes and standards, regulations etc...
·Identify Improvement opportunities in terms of efficient design and cost reduction, participate in value Engineering and similar design review sessions.
·Checks, verifies, and approves Engineering Deliverables and documentations , invoices, progress claims and performance of LDI
Provides input for preparation of Material Requisition, Material selection and upgrade in order to maintain the equipment / facility
operation safely and effectively.
