Position: Process Engineer

POSITION
Reporting to Manufacture Engineering Manager, the PE engineer is responsible for yield rate, implement continuous improvement for material, process, fixture & machine of MP SKUs, Co-work with engineering team and drive improvement before NPI projects transfer to MP stage, ensure a stable, high quality mass production.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Early involve in NPI projects, evaluate and verify new design, material, process, equipment. Feedback to engineering team and drive the improvement, ensure new products transfer to mass production smoothly
? Continuous improvement of process, material and equipment, be responsible for yield rate of MP SKUs
? Monitoring, data collection and follow up on processes to ensure a stable controlled and standardized production
? Set up programs and train production workers to understand and use the new processes to produce products with high quality.
? Co-work with IE and production support team to promote automation for the company
? Be able to debug and resolve quality issues for the company
? To reduce wastage and reduce cost for the company
? To assist Engineering to create preventive maintenance measures for the equipment and machines
? Write SOP/WI/OI and related document.
? Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
? Perform all other duties as assigned or required by management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

? BS in Engineering (minimum), preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Manufacturing
? 4-6 years working experience in cable assembly factory
? Proficient to use AutoCAD/Pro-E software with solid working experience
? Basic knowledge in soldering, molding, stamping, plating, assembly process
? Proficient to use 6Sigma quality control tools (CPK，SPC，PFMEA，PDCA…)，strong problem solving skills, willingness/ability to deal with multiple product and assigned tasks
? Demonstrated technical investigative skills to monitor processes to identify root causes and variation and implement preventive and corrective actions
? Self-management, positive working attitude of being initiative, proactive and creative
? Experience training production operators to understand equipment/process controls and related acceptability criteria
