Duties and Responsibilities:

· Evaluation and application of new materials, new processes and new equipment for new products introduction

· To create help design jigs and fixtures for the process

· Write out procedures and train production personnel to understand and apply the new processes to produce quality products

· For new product, to create the process and product specifications in order to manufacture the product

· To optimize the usage of the equipment or machine to increase the yield and quality for the product

· To reduce wastage and reduce cost for the company

· Be able to debug and resolve quality issues for the company

· To assist Engineering to create preventive maintenance measures for the equipment and machines

· Write the cable assembly SOP/WI/OI and related document.

Experience:

· 4-6 years working experience in cable assembly factory

· Have expertise in the operation of production equipment, changes the settings of machines and equipment and optimizing the performance of the equipment and machineries

· Have the capability and experience to translate/explain technical specifications of the equipment to simpler terms so as to enable production personnel in the understanding to achieve quality product

· Have experience in providing direct production line technical support

· Demonstrated technical investigative skills to monitor processes to identify root causes and variation and implement preventive and corrective actions

· Experience training production operators to understand equipment/process controls and related acceptability criteria

· Knowledge of solder (including solder paste) analysis, controls, deposition/automated feed, reflow and cleaning processes, understanding of solder alloys and related metallurgy as well as flux chemistry epoxies and encapsulate selection, dispensing, control and cleaning, an advantage

Education:

· BS in Engineering (minimum), preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering

Other: Ability to communicate in English (spoken, read and write)
