Job Description:
Perform diversified marketing, sales and customer service duties under the general direction of the Operations Manager, SNC Changzhou. Responsibilities include market research, making sales calls, budget generation, the processing of requests for quotation, purchase orders and correspondence. Perform inside sales activities, including responding to customer commitments, inquiries, expedites, complaints and serving as a conduit of communication. Travel the region as required to develop the market for SNC products and perform outside sales duties.


Coordinate all SNC sales and marketing efforts for Asia. Identify existing, past and potential new customers and develop a supplier relationship with appropriate contacts. Maintain an adequate level of direct communication with all customers and prospects in the Asian region. Submit semi-annual sales budgets for the region based on customer forecast information and marketing knowledge of the territory. Make sales calls and generate detailed trip reports.


Work from purchase orders, quotations, and specifications to process requests for quotation and purchase orders. Follow-up on all quotations and sales related projects. Advise customers concerning sales order delivery status, pricing, and other related matters. Responsible for the routing of freight. Communicate with customers on price changes, delivery, order status, returned goods, etc., in an accurate and expeditious fashion. Initiate telephone calls, faxes and e-mail to provide referrals, as appropriate, using foreign language/cultural skills to facilitate this communication when necessary.


Compose letters from knowledge of circumstances, policies and procedures. Access the ERP system in reference to pricing, forecasting, data entry, order status and inventory availability. Develop and maintain regional customer databases. Generate and maintain spreadsheets to track year-to-date regional sales. Collaborate with accounting on overdue accounts.


Implement and maintain an efficient, consistent customer service function. Make all preparations for and attend trade shows as assigned. Review all customer complaints and confer with Engineering, Production, and Accounting personnel to resolve the problem. Collaborate with the Operations Manager, SNC Changzhou on all major problems or concerns.


Perform other related duties as assigned or associated with the responsibilities of this position.
