Job Description:
- Analysis and exploitation of the Asian sourcing markets for drawing parts.
- Supplier management, i.e. responsible for selection, ramp up and continuous development of suppliers in Asia.
- Qualification of the new/current Local & Global sourcing parts at selected suppliers, such as casting, machined parts, sheet metal parts and welded parts.
- Monitoring of the prototype’s production, as well as, the series production.
- Negotiation of prices, payment terms and delivery terms: Negotiation of prices, payment terms and delivery terms;？ Consideration of logistics requirements (door to door)
- Optimization of the supply chains in Asia.
- Intensive collaboration with specialist departments at suppliers and at Heller in China, as well as at Heller’s headquarter in Germany.

Required Skills:
- Completed bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in a similar position with a track record in buying drawing parts.
- Experience in development of suppliers of drawing parts, such as machined parts, sheet metal parts, welded parts, as well as, in the reading & interpreting of the pertinent drawings; knowledge of the standards and guidelines for drawing parts.
- Knowledge/experience with casting process would be an advantage.
- Several years of sourcing experience in China/Asia; Would be an advantage.
- Experience with SAP (Module MM); Would be an advantage.
- High level of commitment and willingness to travel.
- Business fluent language skills in English.
- Ability to manage many projects simultaneously;
- Detailed orientation with strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Conflict and dialog skills.
- Assertiveness and ability to convince.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
