Job Description:
Responsibilities
The Turbocharger Design Engineer is responsible for Turbocharger parts design, process improvement and new supplier certification.
He/she is in charge to design Turbocharger components, evaluate new design manufacturability, lead turbo verification and validation test and matching with engine, lead technical transfer to supplier.
He/she also need support sourcing qualify new suppliers, conduct on site inspection for important components. Include handling deviations and manufacturing support.
Provide guidance to less turbo area experienced team members.
Qualifications
BS or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel engine engineering education preferred
At least 5 years experience in turbocharger components manufacture, assembly, matching and application, understand turbo design and FEA report is better.
Demonstrated experience working with vendors or design partners to produce designs and supply effective manufacturing site technical support
Solid project management skills
Self -starter and team player, deliver with speed and results
Excellent bi-lingual (Chinese & English) written and verbal communication skills required
Availability to travel
