职位描述：
Primary Responsibilities
1. Responsible for design integrity of assigned temperature, optical, gas and MEMS based automotive or HVAC sensor product and process, which includes new product design and/or modification of existing products. Provides necessary support in maintaining and/or enhancing existing products that encompasses product performance, functionality and reliability characteristics. Conforms to establish engineering practices.
2. Identify and support local growth opportunities for thermistor based temperatures sensors , optical, gas and MEMS based sensors.
3. Support the sales team in the field with technical sensor expertise – provide engineering expertise if project requires new or additional engineering. Interface with customers - provide conceptual design models.
4. Support conceptual sensor development with customer
5. Provide application and conceptual support interface with global design team
6. Support / design and maintain CPO’s custom part orders for standard products that require minimum changes from base products
Qualifications Required
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
2. Min 3~5 years’ experience in mechanical design and/or Electrical Engineering
3. Insight for sensing principle and device technology
4. Wide design experience in Automotive OEM/Tier1 or in Industrial OEM
5. Expertize in design CAD tools and high intelligence in 3D modeling, SolidWorks/CATIA V5
6. Min 2~3 yrs’ automotive industry experience, HVAC experience highly preferred
7. Good understanding of TS16949 system, APQP process
8. Experience in working with customers
9. Oral and written English / Korean Language proficiency
10. Strong communication skills to provide solid customer interface
11. Willing to travel 30% of time.
Desired
1. Automotive Tier-1 company experience is preferred.
2. Experience in sensor applications or other related industry.
