Job Responsibilities:

Responsibility for providing technical information and guidance to assist in the selling of assigned products globally. Manage and coordinate Product Technical training of the corporation. Keep the corporation up to date on worldwide specifications, standards and issues. Provide technical seminars to customers, technical societies and symposia.

• Develop new business relationships by personally presenting a description of the company, its products, and capabilities as well as technical information to customers and potential customers.
• Instruct and train the direct sales force (inside and outside), distributors, and manufactures representatives in the technical aspects of assigned products.
• Provide product technical support to the corporation''s engineers and technical departments.
• Maintain a professional business rapport with accounts even under all conditions.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of global assigned product issues, standards, specifications and upcoming issues to provide accurate feedback to management that may affect business.
• Follow up with customers'' technical issues as requested by the customers or the sales force.
• Provide new product opportunities as discovered by dealing with customer issues with a view to patent such products or ideas.
• Represent the company at various trade shows, technical societies and national and international standards committees. Join and participate in such societies to stay current on issues that affect the corporation.
• Develop technical seminars for customers and the corporation and keep them up to date.
• Develop and write technical articles and application notes.
• Provide assurance to management that all policies are carried out accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business objectives.
• Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards

Position Requirements:

• ASE, BA or higher degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Physics or prior work experience in lieu of formal education.
• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in Technology. Either as a Compliance Engineer, Test Technician or Engineer or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience dealing with and calling on various engineers within major OEM accounts.
• A background in technical writing is desirable.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to work with others in tense situations that may involve major implications for the customer and the corporation.
• Accelerated experience with Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• National Association of Radio and Telecommunication Engineers (NARTE) certification desired.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and prioritize activities.
