JOB DESCRIPTION:
The proposed role within Sarment Company will be Head of Sales in Beijing; she or he will be taking care of Sarment Beijing’s overall sales channels especially focused on private/corporate client development, Beijing office’s operation and team management. The proposed role will be report to the National BD Managers and Marketing Manager of China Mainland.
The position will entail the following responsibilities:
Achieve volume and value budget sales and targets as set by the Sales Director in the Northern region of China;
Be in charge of the financial and administrative integrity of the local private/on-trade sale budget, order management and office budget;
Be familiar with all company products and its categorized pricing structure;
To service, develop and manage a portfolio of private/corporate clients in line with the brand / BD strategy;
Build strong partnerships and close relationships with private clients and corporate clients;
Assist with the development of the Sarment membership scheme, ensure the implementation and liaise with members;
Manage private clients’ sales growth and profitability in line with BU/entity objectives;
Monitor the clients’ performance against the business plan and develop alternative strategies when needed;
Communicate critical business information to the appropriate internal contacts for action;
Oversee the development of the Sarment on-trade sales in the Northern region;
Oversee the marketing programs implementation as directed by the Marketing Manager of China Mainland; Work with the marketing team to create promotional programs and events;
Have sufficient understanding and perceptivity in order to be able to target customers’ needs and take into account each unique business environment when conducting business;
Contribute and implement an annual business plan taking into account all levels of growth: commercial agreements, sales actions, education, retail opportunities, profitability, trade terms, etc.;
Work with the Sales Director to help devise and develop corporate sales strategies for the company;
Collaborate with other sales team members, marketing team, logistics, finance and HR, be able to manage the whole Beijing team efficiently;
Keep a smooth and fully communication with the company’s top management team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in wine, luxury or F&B
Leadership qualities

P&L management
Strategic thinking skills
Sales ethics and sensitivity to legal issues and competition law
Bilingual in English and Mandarin (speaking and writing)
