Job Responsibilities:
1. Partner with controllers’ team to deliver Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable services (AR), and Fixed Assets Accounting in an effective and efficient manner for all Ashland China entities.
2. Responsible for the monthly review and reconciliation of AP and AR.
3. Coordinate with BU and credit team to strengthen customer reconciliation.
4. Ensure inter-company AR and AP reconciliation across all China entities and with overseas Ashland companies, and resolve any differences in a timely manner.
5. Ensure compliance with the company group AR/AP standard process.
6. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and the company group policies in regards to global reporting package.
7. Improve fixed asset accounting through optimizing the usage of SAP fixed asset module.
7. Implement best practice transaction process in the area of accounting processes.
8. Implement and develop quality control for AR/AP operation.
9. Compliance with internal control and SOX requirement.
10. Cooperate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary data and internally prepared working papers.
11. Build up a high performing team through training, competency development, and periodic performance appraisal processes.
12. Take ownership of team management routine such as job allocations, performance feedback, recruitment, training and so on.

Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in accounting or finance or above with accounting work experience 5 years or more in AR/AP.
2. Work experiences as a supervisor or group leader.
3. Experiences with internal control and compliance.
4. Attention to detail, strong self-initiative, problem-solvi.ng, and analytical skills.
5. Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
6. Strong commitment to excellence and process improvement.
