Duties and Responsibilities:?
1.Analyze internal controls to provide adequate safeguards to ensure general operating efficiency and compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures in order to mitigate risk
2.Perform audits of departmental functions, records, ledger or accounts to detect deviations from established policies, procedures, or any fraudulent activity
3.Prepares and submits audit reports for review
4.Makes recommendations for corrective actions
5.Follows up to determine that approved recommendations in audit reports are instituted and complied with by departments
6.Knowledge of company wide policies and procedures
7.Assist External Auditors/Examiners as assigned
8.Build and design of departmental or operational audit programs

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field required. CPA or MBA preferred.

2.7 Year Experience reviewing and analyzing operations, policies and procedures to improve quality and manage risk, and reporting the results of analysis and reviews to all levels of management.

3.Strong analytical skills. Able to review and understand processes, systems, policies, and regulations in detail. Discern their relationship to operational risk, efficiency and compliance.

4.Ability to maintain independence, resist influence, and maintain objectivity in producing findings and recommendations for the organization.

5.Knowledge of internal controls, regulations, and risk management processes related to the Finance & Banking industries.
