Description
In this hands-on and technical position, the individual will be responsible for ensuring the product Regonline provides meets both the functional and non-functional quality requirements. As a QA Engineer, the individual is expected to:
Work with managers/leads to make sure the project following development process and on track. Raise out the potential risks when there is and give construction solutions.
Work with team to design test plan, doing team review and execute testing and analysis the test result.
Participate in the entire development life cycle including: requirement analysis, designing good test cases with high coverage, tracking defects with meaningful details, providing root cause analysis and impact analysis and participating code review and unit test review.
Always bear product quality in mind; master the product knowledge at expert level. Work closely with other teams to ensure successful deployments of upgrades and enhancements on an on-going basis.
Result-oriented. The individual is able to handle multiple priorities, work well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and possess a high level of flexibility while following development processes well.
Requirements
1、3+ software testing experience in US software company, especially on functional and automation testing on web application.
2、Knowledge of test cycles, test tools, and testing methodologies.
3、Extensive experience with black box, white box and automation test (Familiarity with Selenium or WebDriver is preferred)
4、Good requirement analysis and test case design/execution capability.
5、Knowledge of RESTful API, SOAP, web service, XML, SQL.
6、Familiar with web service testing. (Familiar with web service testing tools is preferred.)
7、Technical competency with SQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript.
8、Certain experience in working with development team closely with join efforts on C#/SQL code review and unit test.
9、Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
10、A BS in Computer Science or related field is required.
11、Ability to work as part of global / cross-cultural team.
12、Good English written and verbal communication skills required.
13、Working experience in Agile/Scrum project is preferred.
