职位描述

Objectives:

To plan and direct metalsystem product sales in South China in order to achieve agreed sales volume,pricing by implementing consistently the overall sales strategy, usingtechnical, organizational and customer knowledge. Provide inputs andparticipate in the marketing, market planning and technical development ofproducts and services.



Responsibilities:



Implementation of the sales strategies 

  • Take the responsibility to continuously improve the commercial results of metal system product portfolio according the strategies via product introduction, proposals of marketing plans, analysis of and proposal of sales/ distribution channels, pricing proposals, analysis of market to support decision on future product development strategies, etc.
  • Obtain and coordinate data and information from team members and member groups. Develop lists of potential customers after research of the data.
  • Work with the technical service and logistics personnel to establish a communication path with the customer to ensure sales opportunities for product and services.

Customer management 

  • Maintain direct contact with customers’ key personnel and work with customers and internal functions to resolve problems. Handle progressively larger accounts to gain knowledge on these accounts.
  • Participate in meetings for customer problem resolution; if necessary, work with technical service & customer services personnel to deal with problems, complaints.
  • Direct flow of information for sales activities and transactions (leads, billings, order, contracts) and evaluate data to ensure assigned sales goals are met.

Sales development 

  • Develop sales and marketing proposals to trace customers’ needs on consumption analysis, product/ service performance, technical service’s needs.
  • Make regular sales calls / visits to develop professional relationship and follow up on needs with the aim to close deals and finalize contracts.

Credit management 

  • Conclude sales contracts according to company credit policies and provide customer information as inputs to F&A to support revision of credit policies.
  • Work closely with the personnel responsible for account receivable to ensure that the customers honor the sales contract terms.
  • Provide customer credit information for company credit control function, ensure timely payment of receivables to meet established sales targets and revenue goals.

Market intelligence 

  • Manage resources and participate in sales forecasting and planning to define and improve sales performance.
  • Regularly provide reports and final plans to supervisor regarding customer profiles, business opportunities, market research, sales data, analyses on product consumption/ performance, logistics services, problem areas and solutions etc, as base information to review sales / marketing / pricing plans
  • Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor Degree or above major in metallic materialscience or engineering,
  • Working experience: More than 10 years working experience inmetallic material processing or mechanical engineering or related.
  • Technical &Professional Knowledge:
    1. Good at project management
    2. Innovative and can carry out daily sales work independently;
    3. Good English in oral, writing, reading.
