Reports to: GLOBAL: Commercial Vehicle Global Technical Service Manager
LOCAL: President L&L Products Asia (this may change to local function leader)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Vehicles sales team with technical assistance and support on customer visits across all core CV product lines - adhesives, sealants, acoustic systems and reinforcements.
- Look for opportunities to apply our products to solve customer issues and when appropriate support technical sales efforts and meetings at key customers
- Conduct laboratory testing (lap shear, peel strength, impact resistance, durability testing) with room temperature cure paste adhesives and all other standard L&L heat cured tape and film adhesives on Commercial Vehicle customer substrates. Prepare appropriate test reports for review with customers, with guidance and input from Krys and the Commercial Vehicles sales team.
- Present and explain laboratory test results and detailed technical recommendations to customer contacts across all levels in customer meetings.
- Support resolution of customers concerns and product complaints, via e-mail, telephone and in person visits.
- Conduct product demonstrations and line trials across all key product lines (engineered part, tapes, pastes, DECI-TEX) at L&L and customer facilities.
- Maintain paste adhesive dispensing equipment to the highest standards of operation and cleanliness to ensure rapid reaction to customer line trial requests and to reinforce a positive image regarding L&L Products.
- Work closely with Global Technical Services and Research & Development on room temperature cure paste adhesives on global and new product development projects. Provide coaching to the global R&D and leadership teams on the real needs of Chinese CV customers, and push to ensure that product development activities reflect these key needs.
- Facilitate all product launch activities at our customer plants, by leading initial trials, trouble shooting and providing voice of customer feedback.
- Provide intense support and project management for introduction of new CV products to L&L China, from a technical, sales, logistics and operational standpoint.


Requirements:
- University degree or above in polymer science, mechanical engineering or chemistry.
- More than 6 years working experience, at least 2 years extensive technical expertise in the practical use of structural adhesives, sealants and / or acoustic systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Confident personality, with the ability to professionally work with customers across all levels from senior manager to production line operatives.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and acting as a powerful team player.
- Well organized, with good record retention and reporting practices.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Responsible and professional attitude to all aspects of work.
- Willing to travel frequently.
