GENERAL SUMMARY:
This individual is responsible for day to day activities relating to all major global and/or local programs, including tracking and reporting of capital, tooling, product cost and plant margin. Also Supports the Global Program Managers and the Directors of the Business Unit in all financial responses to the customer. Assist in cost estimates as needed to ensure proper engineering direction for Cooper Standard and our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist and support Global/local Program Managers;
2. Assist Asia Pacific Finance Manager to coordinate and manage the financial data for all regions to insure consistent data that can be supported to the customer;
3. Insure accurate and timely financial data is available to support customer requests and decision making;
4. Completes or facilitates cost estimating on customer and Cooper Standard engineering changes to allow rapid response to the customer;
5. Works collaboratively with the Global/Local Program Manager and Account Managers to maximize profit and cash flow; and minimize Customer fund tooling cost, capital investment and product cost;
6. Summarize current and future program financial data to present entire program perspective. This includes obtaining current model data from controllers and incorporating with future launch projections to provide a multiple year financial outlook;
7. Assist Asia Pacific Finance Manager to lead the analysis of financial data, driving actions that positively influence key financial measures;
8. Interface with customers on financial issues driving resolution and improved financial performance, as requested by the Account Manager, Program Manager and AP Finance Manager;
9. Provide consistent application of best practices relative to financial reporting;
10. Ensures appropriate review of customer quotes with AP Finance Manager prior to customer submission by the Business Unit leaders;
11. Perform other duties by AP Finance Manager and CSA management directly;

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Accounting (Industrial Engineering is preferred);
2. Three years experience in the automotive industry;
3. Experience in finance and plant costing;

1. Financial analysis relative to product cost, plant operations, investment versus return;
2. Problem solving;
3. High degree of task and objective orientation;
4. Strong people skills;
5. Strong multi tasking and priority management skills;
6. Must be pro active and a self starter;
