Key Account Manager (Powertrain Components)

Report to:

Business Manager/GM

Responsibilities:

1) Manage the key customers in OEM and/or Tiers for the products in automotive Powertrain key components including Coolant Regulator, Coolant Reservoir, Quick Connector, Filtration system, etc.

2) Collect current market information and market trends, as well as competitor information; transfer the related information to Business Manager, and support business manager to complete market analysis, market trends and competitor analysis report; update the reports quarterly base

3) Present to customer what ITW Powertrain is and what solution we can provide

4) Gain new business in these areas and maintain current business, including:

a) Establish/maintain business contact;

b) Visit customers regularly and;

c) Earn RFQs and bid for new project;

d) Overview project schedule to ensure new business launch successful;

e) Communicate frequently with ITW global team in Europe, US, Japan and/or Korea;

5) Ensure clients’ demands to be satisfied and maintain good relationship with customer

6) Establish smooth and good relationships to R&D and manufacturing engineering team

7) Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor degree or above, with engineering background is preferred

2) Profound knowledge in automotive powertrain cooling system, or filtration system, working experience in any of these areas is a must. Knowledge in NEV/EV area is preferred

3) Good knowledge in plastic injection molding process and plastic tooling is preferred

4) Sales or project management experience as Tiers with international OEMs is a must, min. 3 years experience in related realm in automotive industry

5) Good communication skills in Chinese and English/Japanese/Korean in writing and speaking
