Responsibilities:

• Act as the prime point of contact for all HR system project activities;
• Ensure the project plan remains on track and on budget in respect of all activities;
• Communicate with management and all stakeholders regarding requirements for the implementation;
• Resolve the issues arising throughout the implementation;
• Organize all meetings and facilities;
• Monitor and maintain the local budgetary costs;
• Establish those changes in processes and procedures as a result of the implementation;
• Deal with the necessary change management in a timely fashion;
• Ensure the appropriate personnel attend training for the implementation;
• Establish the necessary User Acceptance Testing {UAT} and ensure issues raised in UAT are resolved and re-tested;
• Sign off the implementation for go live {a management decision but one that will rely heavily on the input from the HR Systems Manager};
• Organise the cutover process; and
• Monitor progress post go live and raise any issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education in an appropriate discipline;
• Minimum 6 years HR information system implementation experience;
• Strong project management experience in a managerial role;
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills;
• A strong client service ethic, with highly developed client service skills;
• Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication;
• Fluent Mandarin and English;
• Ability to work autonomously in a high pressure environment and exercise flexibility by managing conflicting/changing priorities within tight time frames;
• Ability to exercise initiative and discretion;
• Self-motivated;
• Willingness and ability to work with a number of different points of view and successfully influence decision outcomes when necessary; and
• Commitment/tenacity - ability to see projects through to the end.
