Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Design Server/Client software based on SEMI SECS/GEM standards for equipment. Other standards are a plus
- Design and develop PC Based control software for automated equipment for the electronics industry through the full software development lifecycle
- Developing, testing and deploying automation software
- Providing support of delivered automation software
- Documentation and project planning
- Utilizes object oriented programming skills to write modular, sustainable code.
Work in the software engineering team to develop software for control of manufacturing systems, data analysis and automation controls
- Create software document, design and code reviews for all software.
- Rewrite/integrate legacy applications to work within a unified framework.
- Provide planning and status information to superior.

Job requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Software engineering, Automation, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or similar
- Experience in SECS/GEM Communications
- Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), as well as VC++, C#, Java and .NET
- Experience working with either Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server databases
- Experience in development of web based applications
- Excellent inter personal skills to work effectively with our internal customer Manufacturing, Engineering and Equipment teams
- Excellent organizational time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Test-Driven development methodology
- Good knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Manufacturing Execution System application / MES / CIM knowledge a plus
- Operator Station knowledge a plus
- PLC programming skills a plus
