Title: VP Licensing Sales & Business Development , China

Our client is a global brand extension agency representing some of the biggest brands in the world; Coca-Cola, Jeep / Chrysler, Mercedes Benz, Cosmopolitan, Budweiser, Hershey's . It is responsible for over 3.5 billion in retail sales world-wide and over $500MM in China and SE Asia. Based on this success we our client has launched to manage these territories in 2012. We are looking to fill our company with a local team of dedicated, hardworking and passionate professionals.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Position reports to Executive Vice President of Licensing

- Ability to work independently to achieve sales goals

- Experience with global brand strategies and corporate operations

- Develop local market strategies and implement with team

- Formulates, nurtures, manages and retains key client relationships for annual contracts

- Secure big concept as well as category specific licensing deals

- Responsible for brand new deal targets

- Negotiation of contracts and assist in development

- Assisting clients with problem resolutions and solutions

- Partner with and support clients in a manner that will solidify long-term strategic plans that achieve client’s goals and objectives

- Consistently reviewing the assigned account base to look for new revenue opportunities and make necessary recommendations and changes where necessary that may result in increased account activity

- Responsible for understanding our services and new technologies and informing clients to help them meet their business needs

- Manage growing sales team

- Take leadership position in overall team

QUALIFICATIONS

- A minimum of 10 years experience in Licensing, FMCG or Fashion

- Understand and relationships across one or multiple industries specifically consumer goods and/or fashion

- ability to develop relationships, grow sales and close deals

- Professional with excellent written and oral communication skill

- Management experience to oversee growing sales team

- Experience and understanding in marketing and retail preferred

- Creative self-starter with strong organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated in a client-based setting; excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

- Ability to analyze a situation, make sound decisions in a timely manner and be deadline-oriented

- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities

- Proposals and contract language

- An entrepreneurial spirit
