RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Develop dual sourcing strategies related to LLC globally.
• Provide guidance to Commodity Specialists as required.
• Responsible for savings actions related to overall Supply Chain strategies.
• Responsible for meeting targets and deliverable set by Supply Chain team.
• Responsible for non-standard component quotation.
• Monitor supplier performance and taking necessary actions based on results.
• Develop effective and efficient supply base operational support plans to achieve P&L and Business unit balance scorecard objectives for Safety, Quality, Productivity, Human Development, and Costs.
• Visit suppliers, develop overall knowledge of the supply base, lead and develop strategic initiatives to meet objectives and improve overall supply chain performance.
• Ensure quality compliance adherence with supply base utilizing advance quality planning concepts, effective root cause & corrective action results via structured Problem solving tools & Methodologies.
• Maintain an employee performance management cycle consisting of performance reviews, goal setting, and follow up.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree and min 10 years experience in Supplier Quality/Management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others.
• Knowledge of supplier contracts, product conformity, quality tool box, problem solving methodologies, certification, & aviation regulations.
• Continuous improvement, Six Sigma concepts & methodologies, and work experience as a leader with excellent negotiation skills will be considered an asset.

· Good leadership, judgment, and an ability to innovate.

· Chongqing local residents are preferred since the position will be based in Chongqing.
