Purposes:
Join a Team to:
?Develop digital solutions for our industrial process and plant operations, in order to strive for operational excellence.
?Simulate changes before putting into production, as far as both hardware and software are concerned.
?Deploy validated digital solutions in plants.

Key Interfaces:
?Within Industrial 4.0 Lab @ Omegatech: IT Engineer / Automation Engineer / Industrial Process Experts.
?With plants across Asia region: Automation Engineers/ Process Engineers / Engineering Managers.
?With France: Data Scientific Engineers from Alphatech.
?With suppliers : Data Mining in Industrial filed

Manager:
?This student will report to the Manufacturing Excellence and Digital Manufacturing Manager Asia (who possesses 15 years’ work experience in industrialization, plant operational management and digital manufacturing, with 6 years experience in France for both study and work).
General Requirements
?Based on Wuhan, Plastic Omnium’s Asia Industrial 4.0 Lab @Omegatech.
?Currently pursuing studies for Master’s degree.
?Will spend at least 6 months.
?Prior internship or research experiences in industrial / manufacturing / process fields.
Basic Knowledge Required
?Good English.
?Mathematic Modeling experience, such as having used MATLAB to solve practical problems.
?Database knowledge/ programming experience , the best is to have some “ BIG Data” treatment/programming experience; Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Machine Learning knowledge
?Basic IT knowledge, such Ethernet, Cloud, etc.
?Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, HTML#5,C++.

？Week 1: trained and work as an operator on production lines in a plant.
？Week 2: Understanding background of the projects / technical scope / expected outcomes.
？3 Weeks: Working with plant engineering/maintenance/quality teams to understand Plastic Omnium Clean Energy Systems (PO CES) products, machines, engineering processes, quality standards, as well as operational pain points.
？2 Weeks: PO CES current digital manufacturing structures, existing systems, data resource, technical aspects for existing machine automations.
？+ Training by Data Scientific Engineers (based in France) on existing development tool packages, working method/logical, with some concretes projects (~16 hours), and
？+ Regular exchanges via conference/video calls with Data Scientific Engineers and Digital Manufacturing Engineers in France and other countries.
