Understanding the design specifications and physical construction of the element (e.g. fabrication in hardware/ coding in software). Ensuring that the realized physical element conforms to the design specifications. Perform stand alone tests and conform compliance with the supply agreements. Cooperate during integration of elements in the next hierarchical

• Creation of SW detailed design

• Implementation in C/C++ or creation of a function model

• Static analysis of the code or the model

• Optimization of the code or the function model in regard to consumption of resources and compliance of guidelines (programming guidelines or modeling guidelines)

• Integration of modules in a test environment on the PC

• Creation and performance of the module tests

• Transfer of knowledge to the software development groups

• Use of reusable parts, and making them available

• Documentation of development activities

• Use of the CM activities in the work environment (branch, merge, build)

• Optimization and amendment of the function model, as well as the module and integration test cases.

Code generation

• Detailed Knowledge of and experience in the programming of embedded systems

• Knowledge about architecture and design patterns (layering, pipes, error treatment, structure patterns, ...) and object orientation

• Detailed knowledge of UML

• Detailed knowledge of test methods

• Knowledge of functional safety (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508)

• Knowledge of the performance of reviews and review techniques

• Communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team

• Knowledge of the tools allocated to the role in the software standard process

• Detailed knowledge of the UML tool and IDE in use as well as ClearCase, ClearQuest and the used problem management tool

• Knowledge of DOORS

• Detailed knowledge of TargetLink
