The requirement of this position is responsible for the supporting activities to the Sourced Vinyl Product for AFI North America and Australia, including Vinyl Sheet, LVT, WPC, Rigid Core, PVC Free and any other new products adjacency to vinyl floor product.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Sourcing Manager on the Management of current sourced resilient suppliers for North America and Australia market, including the products quality, cost and on-time delivery

• Monitor the fulfillment of Purchase order, support Analyst to fix potential issue with supplier and ensure On-Time delivery.

• Support Sourcing Manager on Price management as well as Price outlook per Corporate Forecasting process.

• Support Sourcing Manager to expand current supplier base to reduce risks and improve product portfolio

• Support Sourcing Managers to identify new to Armstrong and new to the world products.

• Support Sourcing Managers to identify new suppliers with capabilities to manufacture existing products and develop new products.

• Execution of RFx, Support large scale RFP activities by working closely with the procurement manager(s) and follow up with suppliers to ensure Sourcing Project on-schedule

• Support Sourcing Manager to negotiate claims compensation following NCR process, coordinate and follow up the correction progress with the Suppliers

• Ensuring suppliers meet Armstrong's environmental and sustainability requirements

• Follow up projects in pipelines to drive cost reduction, product quality and service improvements to enhance supplier value proposition and meet organization objectives for productivity.

• Manage Sample Board sourcing projects including supplier selection, products quality, cost and on-time delivery

• Support PM/designer and coordinate with suppliers on design development / selection, color refresh and color matching etc.

• Manage the quality and delivery performance of assigned categories/suppliers

• Attending and participating in trade shows, industry product shows, etc. to ensure that Armstrong is participating at the leading edge of new product innovation and introduction

• Integrating and understanding the direction and recommendations coming from the AFI Product Styling & Design organization

• Opportunity to take lead and manage Sourced Product for Australian market.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree with engineering or commercial background

• 6+ years sourcing experience in multinational companies,

• Skilled with MS office software, SAP knoweldge/skill is preferred but not required

• Strong negotiation, communication and influence skills

• Exellenct English and Chinese (Mandarin), both for oral and writing

• Ability to work in cross-culture enviroment, and manage conflict effectively
