? Reporting Line: Direct report to the deputy director of IT in Qorvo (Beijing), Dotted line report to U. S. security director.

? Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze network packet information, Windows and Linux/UNIX OS system data, executable file data, host data, IDS/IPS logs, net flow, and metadata to identify and characterize anomalies.

2. Perform forensic investigations and malware analysis.

3. Assist in the development and optimization of new and existing tools and techniques to enhance analytic capabilities.

4. Tune existing security sensors.

5. Validate and triage Data Loss Prevention events.

6. Participate in the coordination of resources during incident response efforts.

7. Complete vulnerability assessments.

8. Train users on security fundamentals and best practices.

9. Track and publish IT security metrics.

10. Deliver exceptional service by understanding business drivers and needs.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.

2. Strong infrastructure knowledge including servers, storage, data protection, databases, and networking

3. Experience performing vulnerability scans and risk assessments,

4. Working knowledge of IT security frameworks such as FISMA, NIST, and ISO.

5. Understanding of SOX compliance requirements.

6. Experience with the following technologies: FireEye, Palo Alto, Rapid 7, Symantec DLP, EnCase, Security Onion, and Kali tools.
