Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Represent APA in global forums for GFCPA related affairs.
Be single point of contact on GFCPA for APA.
Manage the GFCPA product evaluation process (FAP02-004) for APA and supervise the GFCPA VO manufacturing quality lead auditors for APA. Manage their travel, training and personnel needs.
Supervise the training and annually calibrate/certify plant personnel and facility with GFCPA audit techniques and principles.
Oversee GFCPA and Body FPA operation for APA.
Provide ongoing verification audits and coaching at Assembly Plants.
Ensure consistency in GFCPA scoring across APA and Globally.
Develop vehicle line expertise though competitive GFCPA product reviews.
Align GFCPA strategies with external customer indicators.
Support development of future GFCPA strategies.
Ensure alignment with APA PD Craftsmanship team.
Supervise 2 to 3 GFCPA regional auditors / direct reports.
Provide interface of GFCPA hardware / software requirements between plant and IT.
Work with Global Stamping Quality Manager to co-ordinate Global regional FPA strategy. Cascade the strategy / updates to the APA plants.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Ability to lead and coach engineering team in GFCPA and related audit area.
Excellent co-ordination and communication skills in English.
Global perspective, cultural awareness & sensitivity.
Ability to travel regionally and globally on need based.
Experience in customer view-point audit fields. (3 years min)
Experience in quality and warranty systems.
Manufacturing or engineering experience is a plus.
Computer system skills. (windows, office, web, terminal system)
