The Equipment Readiness Product Manager is responsible to coordinate equipment requirements between Cupertino equipment product managers, business teams, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The team works with product operations and engineering teams to support both new product development and sustaining equipment activities. Team responsibilities include:
? Consolidating station BOMs
? Working directly with OEMs to equipment list reviews.
? Driving cross functional teams towards consensus of equipment requirements based on station BOM and mass production line quantities with engineering and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
? Understanding impact of cycle time changes to budgets, forecasts, and program schedules.
? Verifying equipment demands and coordinating with business teams to ensure equipment is put on order and tracked to delivery.
? Working with OEM to ensure timely delivery of all items.
? Cross functional coordination with APO business teams to drive closure of pricing decisions to meet mass production kick-o requirements.
The PM must respond quickly to changes to the overall goals, schedule, and/or architecture. OPMs must be fearless leaders capable of working with cross- functional teams to identify risks, explore solutions, reach consensus and execute mitigations as quickly and e ciently as possible.
Experience / Requirements:
? BS/BA degree required.
? 2-7 years of overall industry experience
? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
? Impeccable organization skills with the ability to multi-task
? Proven leadership background. Experience managing teams is preferred
