Regional Communication Manager
Atlas Copco Power Technique FE – is embarking on its new journey with strong focus on growth, as such are we seeking to strengthen the team with a Regional Communications Manager - to coordinate and drive the regions communication activities, in close cooperation with each markets local professionals.
Location
Atlas Copco Power Technique FE - Shanghai office, China.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced communications and marketing manager with a solid track record in a manufacturing environment, in addition to B2B and B2C marketing experience. The candidate should be familiar with the industrial equipment markets (preferable pump sector). Be a solid team player with international exposure, strategic development, driven to work with managers and field personnel within the business lines achieving maximum brand and product recognition.
Responsibilities
? Manage the marketing communications in-house team, contractors and external agencies, and be the first point of contact for internal, external, integration and acquisition communications projects for PT FE.
? Develop and maintain strong communication between the customer center and respective business lines; work cooperatively with the marketing teams from the product companies to develop materials and promote new product lines.
? Responsible for promoting all brands represented by PT FE, products and corporate messages to their respective external and internal audiences in the FE Region.
? Responsible for setting and adhering to yearly communications budgets, and making communications plans to support and promote all represented business and product lines, reporting back on results and achievements.
? Negotiate, schedule and manage our participation in both regional and national trade shows.
? Manage all dealer/distributor co-op programs and support dealers and sales agencies with their communications activities.
? Contribute local content to various internal publications as appropriate.
? Develop and manage a space advertising budget (digital/online and in print), -press release schedule; manage a PR and advertising activities to execute the plan, negotiate advertising space, design ads, develop articles and editorials for placement in trade magazines and monitor coverage on our behalf.
? Provide a system to supply sales literature from the represented divisions, including the localization of literature and creation of new brochures, as required.
? Manage our listings in buyers guides and on web sites.
? Manage our memberships in trade associations in such a way that we achieve maximum benefit from our participation.
? Manage and improve the sections of the websites, and related applications such as the dealer locators; and other electronic channels to communicate with all stakeholders promoting our products and services.
? Manage the procurement and distribution of promotional items; -serve as a point of contact.
? Participate as the brand awareness teams within the FE region
? Work cooperatively with other Atlas Copco entities in the region on joint projects;
? Drive the sales and service lead generation process resulting from communications activities through our CRM system/s
? Champion the marketing part of the CRM system
? Implement Brand Awareness Survey and Brand Audit per corporate guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
Possess a degree in journalism, mass communications, marketing or a related field from an accredited university or the equivalent in work experience.
A minimum of six years of related work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment of either construction / mining / pumps or power technologies is required. (Preferably international/regional pump industry).
Highly motivated and committed individual with excellent project management skills and the ability to multi-task. With an appreciation for deadlines and cost control. Be a perceptive and strategic thinker.
Have the ability to build relationships and work international with a wide range of organizations and individuals, and motivate and coach direct reports and external partners.
Established relationships with trade publications, industry associations and related industry professionals in public relations and advertising preferred.
Computer skills in: Microsoft Office, and standard design/publishing software.
Possess an excellent command of English and other local languages (Japanese/Korean), with the ability to proof read, and sometimes write, articles for internal and external publication.
