工作职责：
1. 在有限的指导下研发产品新功能或研究威胁特征
2. 敏捷开发环境下多任务快速开发
3. 帮助分析客户遇到的问题并提出解决方案
4. 维护现有产品功能，包括增加新的功能和解决缺陷
5. 协同组内其他成员审查代码和测试用例
6. 撰写功能和设计说明文档，并协同技术文档组完成文档需求
 
职位要求：
1. 计算机科学或工程专业硕士，3年以上相关软件研发经验。或计算机科学或工程专业学士，5年以上相关软件研发经验
2. 较强的C/C++编程技巧并有3年以上开发经验
3. 精通web技术，例如HTML/JavaScript/CSS， UNIX Shell 脚本，SQL
4. 有较强UNIX或Linux操作系统经验
5. 有TCP/IP或其他网络协议经验，有BSD socket编程经验
6. 具有快速分析并解决问题的能力
7. 良好好的英语沟通能力

-有云平台应用开发经验优先
 
Staff Software Engineer – SonicWall, Shanghai

SonicWall is looking for a Staff Software Engineer excited to work in the Web Application Firewall engineering team. The Staff Software Engineer role provides challenging opportunities and ample room for critical thinking. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining SonicWall’s award winning Web Application Firewall products.

The position will be based out of Shanghai. This position reports to the Director of Software Engineering in the United States.

Role Responsibilities:

? Design and develop new firmware features and signatures with limited supervision
? Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, agile team environment
? Facilitate problem diagnosis and prompt resolution for issues reported by customers
? Maintain existing firmware features by implementing enhancements and fixing bugs
? Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, test case reviews, and process enhancements
? Write functional and design specifications, and work with technical publications team for documentation needs
 
Requirements:

? Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field with 3+ years of software development experience or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field with +5 years of software development experience
? Strong C/C++ programming skills with 3+ years of experience
? Proficient in web technologies such as HTML/JavaScript/CSS, UNIX Shell scripts, SQL Programming
? Strong experience with UNIX or Linux operating systems
? Experience with TCP/IP and other networking protocols as well as BSD socket programming
? Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues.
? Good communication skills in English

Preferences:

? Experience in Network Security and Web Application Security is preferred
? Prior signature development is a plus.
