Reports to: Asia L&L Product, R&D Leader
Location: Shanghai
Works with: Members in R&D, Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales，Purchasing and counterparts in Asia, US and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistant support to senior R&D Chemists for new development projects.
- Lead and complete ingredients replacement, material validation and technical support for sealant and structural materials independently.
- For the commercialization process, insure efficient interactions between R&D, Quality, Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales and Purchasing.
- Get new material approval at OEM and provide technical support.
- Working with purchasing to make sure our raw material sources are secured, are at the right quality and best cost.
- Ensure good exchanges and cooperation with other R&D departments in the group; in case of worldwide leadership on projects, coordinate the fulfilling specification assessment, and application validations on a global scale.
Qualifications:
- Has basic chemical expertise of material application, manufacturing and raw materials.
- Master (1-2 years working experiences) or Bachelor (2-3 years working experiences) degree in Chemistry of Chemical Engineering, specialized in Polymers and/or Material science.
- Experiences on kinds of rubber, or thermal plastic material application, formulation and manufacture is preferred.
- Work independently.
- Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin.
- Results orientation with strong communications skills.
