Position: Senior QA Manager

Job Description: Technocraft Group is a leading producer of scaffold and formwork components. Technocraft has 2 manufacturing plants making scaffolding and formwork systems, one near Mumbai, India and the other near Nanjing, China. The India plant specialises in making tube based scaffold systems like the Cuplok system, ringlok system and Kwikstage system alongwith a range of formwork products like props and some specialised panel based slab and wall form systems. The India plant has in house tube mill, fabrication facilities and in house hot dip galvanising plant. The China plant specialises in making steel boards, forged components like couplers and some system scaffold like ringlok and kwikstage. The India plant services customers in North and South America, Europe, Australia and the local Indian market. The China plant services customers in Australia, North and South America and European market. Technocraft maintains distribution yards in North America, Europe and Australia where we stock our products for sales to end users who are mainly scaffold and formwork contractors. Our customers provide total scaffolding solutions in both building construction and industrial construction sectors. Both the India and China factories are ISO 9000 certified.Technocraft is currently undergoing a significant increase in its production capacity to support an increase in sales of our products in our current geographies. To keep the quality levels of our products in line with the increase in production capacity, Technocraft is seeking to introduce a central QA position. This Central Senior QA Manager position will be a corporate position and can be based at our Quanjiao, Anhui plant.

The person will be responsible for following:

1) Reviewing existing QA policy of the company and modifying it suitably to make it more in line with company goals.
2) Setting systems and processes to ensure product produced is strictly adhered to company QA policy.
3) Understanding needs of our customers in various geographies and functional requirements and practical considerations and ensuring that the product produced is closely in sync with the requirements of each geography.
4) Attending customer complaints and ensuring a system of corrective action aimed towards continual product quality improvement.
5) Imparting training to workers and factory supervisors to monitor the adherence to QA system.
6) Review of plant and machinery in the factory and ensuring that the equipment is in synch with producing quality product.
7) Ensuring that the production and lead time of orders in both factories are as per requirement and there are no late deliveries.
8) Ensuiring that the stock levels in our yards and factories are properly optimised to meet sales and production requirements.

Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline. Sound experience in steel fabrication and preferably in fabrication of scaffolding products for developed western markets. Knowledge of Chinese and English language is a prerequisite.
