Responsibilities:

1.Ensure supply chain set up on time
2.Ensure quality of purchased materials
3.Support set up & maintain material purchasing systems & documentation
4.Manage relationships with external & internal suppliers
5.Effective communication amongst suppliers & other functions
6.Generate ideas to reduce cost
7.Search for new suppliers
8.Work closely with operations colleagues internal & external.(Operations, Engineering, Finance, QA etc.)
9.Record and maintain sourcing, procurement, invoicing, & vendor acceptance, qualification reports.
10.Provide monthly reports versus agreed targets and deadlines as required
11.Assist with audits
12.Supporting cost control
13.Coordinate work of multiple material & service vendors
14.Organise purchase & delivery of material & services
15.Able to organise own work time in conjunction with rest of team.
16.Communicate regularly & clearly with purchasing manager & other senior management.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar industry in an expediter capacity.
2. Experience of the Procurement and supply chain process for a multi value stream manufacturer is desirable
3. Heavy electrical systems knowledge & procurement market – electrical material, copper, insulations.etc.
4. Minimum 3 years procurement experience
5. Customs clearance experience will be a benefit.
6. Good knowledge and technical skills in Microsoft applications including excel, word, outlook, project, powerpoint and vario.
7. Familiar with the concept of an ERP system, and able to interrogate and data input.
8. Able to read technical drawings
9. Knowledge of commercial law of PRC
10. Understanding basics of mechanical properties, ultrasound testing
