Responsibilities

Production Control:

· Responsible for the creation and continuous update of the master production schedule that meets customer
demand through effective work center scheduling and capacity utilization.
· Day to day management of Demand Planning, Production Planning and Production Control
· Optimize manufacturing scheduling and effectiveness through interpreting and converting the master production
plan into work center schedules, taking into consideration all the necessary variables i.e. capacity, timelines, resource, urgency, material availability etc.
·Drive adherence to plan through managing the planning, release and timely execution of production orders/

messages in line with customer demand
· Provide leadership and be a change agent to continuously improve the supply management processes
·Control, measure, and regulate efficient inventory levels of purchased materials in support of operations, and drive inventory reduction of WIP and Finished Goods through use of the ERP system and delivery methods
· Drives resolution of materials issues which includes working with the Purchasing, QA, QC and Production teams to evaluate material shortages, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate the replenishment to the appropriate inventory levels
·Identifies material cost and schedule impact of proposed changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation of the same.
·Analyses and manages inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet profit and inventory targets and goals
·Liaise with Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to schedule new products into production
·Recruit, develop and motivate staff such that they have the knowledge, skills and drive to give a high quality performance.
· Instill a culture of Continuous Improvement and cost savings.
· Prepare management reporting as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Production:
· Plan and organize the production activities of the plant to ensure that the required products are manufactured in time to meet the customer demands.
· Control the use of all resources, i.e., man, machine, and materials to ensure that production costs are minimized and efficiencies are maintained.
· Maintain high quality standards in all phases of production activity, raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
· Enforce the continuous flow of production from start to completion, consistent to "Lean Manufacturing"

methodology with a focus on safety, work process,productivity, efficiency and cost savings.
·Develop and optimize all processes and procedures in order to improve its effectiveness by applying concepts of Lean, TQM, 5S.
·Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
·Provide leadership in the assigned area to ensure that all employees follow the correct procedures in reporting material and labor transactions in system.
·Identify, evaluate and present to upper management the issues related to expediting particular rush orders, i.e., overtime and other related costs.
·Maintain high morale among all employees by promoting and enforcing effective human relations practices.
·Manage and stimulate the production team, offer valuable support to improve team performance, look proactively for problems and find early solutions in daily work.
·Monitor the performance of employees and take appropriate action regarding promotions, demotions, transfers, leaves, and disciplinary actions.
·Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification/Requirements
·Minimum 10 years experience as a senior Production Control Manager in an international business
·Degree or equivalent in supply chain/production management
·Excellent English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
·Strong leadership and man management skills with the ability to communicate
effectively with all levels within the organization in a multi-cultural environment
·Strong financial, mathematical and analytical skills.
·Team player, strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
·Self-starter able to work under own initiative.
·Robust ERP/MRP computer skills with proficiency in the use of MS Office, Excel, PPT.
