Safety

· Carry out daily SHE checks and enforcement on the site. give consultation service to plants and projects to achieve and maintain effective risk management;

· Join investigation of accidents and incidents;

· To provide SHE training to all internal staffs, suppliers, visitors and contractors;

· Organize regular site emergency drill by internal and external resources;

· Collect and compile safety statistics for Nuplex Changshu site and report the figures;

· Supervision implementation safety regulations;

· Ensure compliance with national laws and regulations;

· Join Incident Root Cause Analysis;

· Assist in completion of the Safety Standard Management system.

Security

· Assure effective access control of site;

· Supervise SHE procedures be implemented by employee and contractors;

· Control traffic and safe behaviour of employees and visitors on the site.

Occupational Health / Industrial Hygiene

· Give effective first aid and medical treatment in the case of injury and work related illness;

· Assessment and management of hazards in the workspaces to assure health protection and optimum fitness of the employees;

· To carry out 5S auditing and reporting.

Environmental Protection

· Ensure and supervise compliance with national laws and regulations as well as with Nuplex global standards for the protection of air, water, soil and noise;
