General
Oversees all plant vehicle and component scheduling activities
Develops plant operating plans
Maintains M-BoM updates and accuracy.
Leads ECO and breakpoint setting. Supports central Logistics planning on ECR procedures.
Supports BPD / Scorecard achievement
Internal Controls compliance for their function
Coordinates and keeps up to date Plant planning and operating and restrictions

Safety
Ensure team is following safety policies

People
Supervises MES, PTR and Engineering Change Coordinators

Quality
Develops schedules into plant operating plans
Coordinates the replacement orders for miss-builds and scrap units
Maintains and monitors the corporate “vin” procedure
Maintains “auto sequence” rules
Spacing
Batch painting
Option leveling to improve assembly productivity
Publishes reports (percentages) to planning organization
Publish reports to departments
Participates in planning of special builds and PTR's
Controls “MRP” pull ahead, line fill and lean controls
Maintains ISO standards
Implements, monitors and maintains QPS elements

Responsiveness
Assists in option penetration forecasting
Responsible for tracking metrics for the department
Interfaces with marketing division for:
Expedite requests
Order changes
Diversions
Unique customer satisfaction issues
Monitors “old” order status and publish report to departments, driving resolution.
Follows special and government orders through to delivery
Monitors order status to provide daily reports for staff review
Generates all parts lists for special builds (i.e. MVB’s, new options, paints)
Develops and communicates “build to plan” initiatives
Publishes performance
Maintains scorecard charts
Creates and communicates Manufacturing change requests, ensuring accurate Master Data.


Cost
Performs plant recalcs, controls recalcs for sequencers that effect stability
