Key Objectives:

The Finance manager is responsible for review and analyzes of financial information from local entities, consolidation and analyzes of finance reports at Corporate level, and ensures quality and timeliness of reporting. He or She will also participate in various kinds of business projects assigned by CFO.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Review of financial reports submitted from local entities to ensure compliance with Caterpillar Accounting Practice and China GAAP, accurate and appropriate reporting to management.
2. Co-ordinate monthly closing and reporting process to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met by all entities.
3. Consolidate and analyze monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial management reports for presentation to management team.
4. Continuous improvement of monthly standard financial reporting format and process to better address management information needs with higher level of automation for efficiency.
5. Co-ordinate and support of annual budget and quarterly forecast activities and prepare consolidation at corporate level for Stakeholders’ reporting
6. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures


Education and training:


1. University with finance,accounting or economy etc.
2. Knowledge of China GAAP, and preferably US GAAP
3. Good command in written Chinese & English, and preferably oral in English
4. 5 years or above experience in the management of financial reporting, analysis, budgets, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice, particularly in manufacturing costing
5. Strong skills in excel, word, power points and preferably also access database
