Principal Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1.Develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate Associate Safety Training Programs.

2.Manage all aspects of Safety including Ergonomics, Environmental and OSHA.

3.Develop and train a Medical Team to administer 1st aid when needed.

4.Work with Engineering on safety issues of new launches.

5.Investigate injury/illness and assist management with solutions.

6.Evaluate PPE through organization for effectiveness and regulations regarding new and changing OSHA regulations.

7.Assist EMR for ISO 14001 Environmental program.

8.Review & manage all Significant Aspects.

9.Review and develop programs, processes and work instructions for continuous applicability to company activities.



Budgetary Responsibilities:

Assist on projecting yearly Safety training budget.

Report on the costs associated with Safety and Ergonomics non-conformance. Assist in projecting yearly safety products budget.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed:

Bachelor's degree or experience in a business or technical manufacturing discipline required.

Must have well-developed organizational, communication and public speaking skills.

Must be able to develop and administer policies to establish and promote maintenance of safety, health, ergonomics and environmental working conditions. Ensure that company facilities and practices are in compliance with government safety regulations. Extensive knowledge of OSHA, ergonomics and environmental regulations required.
